What I Read in 2015

Happy New Year everyone! To kick off the year I thought I'd share the books I read in 2015 (Even though I should do a Ruminations post first [cue sucking air through teeth and hating myself for breaking the norm]. So back when I was listing my 2014 Reading List I set myself the goal to read 40 books in 2015. I have been listing my reads in my Rumination posts as I go along because I love tracking what I'm reading every month (and will hopefully continue to do wrap ups over on YouTube) but now that we've reached the new year it is time to share all of the books I read in 2015 and see if I managed 40 or not.

I had a really good reading year. 71 BOOKS! That is including graphic novels (sorry dad, who says they "don't count" except yeah they do) but at least misses off picture books and rereads too. Unfortunately it misses off my DNFs too but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯! You can have a look at my year in books on Goodreads and see all the pretty covers and stats.

Here's to reading in 2016! I hope to read 52 books, a lot of which are ones I already own on my shelf (not that I think I'll be able to restrain myself from buying more) as well as do a video about my top 10! Be my buddy on Goodreads because, why not? Also, we can encourage all the reading for this year.

What did you read in 2015?

  8. I limped along at something like 30 books last year. University just takes up too much bloody time. Super excited to graduate and have time to read again!

My favorite read last year was probably Six of Crows, which is not on your list but judging from your list you would love it! It is a really fantastic YA fantasy. I also really loved Ten Thousand Skies Above You, which was the sequel to A Thousand Pieces of You. Also awesome. So good.

    1. When I was at university I read almost no books (not including the ones I skimmed for research and annotation and all that other academical bollocks!) it was only after graduating that I've been able to actually read loads <3

I do want to read Six of Crows! I want to read her trilogy first though, and I'm gonna look in to the other ones you've mentioned :D thanks for the recommendations
