5 Fictional Characters that are my Spirit Animal #Fandom5

Welcome to a post where I am going to dissect my personality in order to find the 5 characters that I most identify with. I was very excited about this prompt for Fandom5 and it took me no time at all to find the characters that could literally be my spirit animal.

16 Graphic Novel Recommendations

I've recently started reading graphic novels for so many reasons, but the best reason is of course that they are simply ace. I've put off reading graphic novels for a while because I am way to intimidated by the selection of DC and Marvel comics (like Batman alone, there is too many, where do I start? I know there is an order, a guy at work has told me the order but it's like, overwhelming). Luckily, there are so many more to pick from so I'm looking at smaller series and more independent publishers that you should definitely check out.

Before I get in to the recommends, like normal I'm going to say all of the images and little teasers are from Goodreads so if something intrigues you click on the link to find out more but I obviously would suggest running to your local bookstore/comic book shop to buy these. It's a little different to normal because there are going to be a bunch of different styles and genres, and most of these might not be suitable for younger readers (due to gore and sexual imagery).

Cafe W, Newcastle

I wanted to share something that I feel might be a little gem still, hidden in plain sight in the centre of Newcastle. Cafe W is located inside Waterstones on the first floor and it sells all the things you'd expect in a Cafe: coffees, teas, cakes, sandwiches and very recently they've added milkshakes to the menu!

Recent Reads Reviews | #3

I wanted to list off another bunch of book reviews and today I will be looking at a variety of Young Adult books. Some of these are from my "books-I-probably-should-have-read-like-comma-ten-years-ago" list, but some are also brand new that I was so psyched about I had to write a little review. (Looking at the covers now, this is such a weird mix of books, just go with it)

UK Places I Want to Visit Next

I was about to write a list of places I aim to travel to next on paper, but I thought why put it down in my journal/writing book when I can share it on the glorious internet?

I've Opened an Etsy Store

Well isn't this an exciting post to be sharing with you today! Yesterday I got so excited and just opened up an Etsy Store! So I suppose I'll start at the beginning. For ages now I've wanted to have some kind of online store as an extra income because, as much as I love my job, I only work part time and need something new to focus on and help towards my Masters Degree and future adventures. You may remember I had a store badge on the side of my profile late 2014 with the dream of opening a store early 2015 but that didn't happen. I had no idea what to sell and was drained of all creativity but I've managed to turn myself around.

How to Set Up A CV

Today I thought I'd share a post on setting up a CV. Maybe it'll be helpful, I know people have different opinions on things like this so taket from it what you want. I've been adding to and updating my CV since I was 16 (that's 7 years now, urgh) and I've not spent much of that time unemployed but I know how much of a bummer it is looking for jobs and I want to help all I can. Just so you know, this is just a regular kind of retail focused one, so all you fancy people with lots of skills, experiences and opportunities will have to adapt.

This is a bit of a miss-match of titles to review. It's a bit vague but the main thing that links these books together is that they are all YA authors. I mean, I could make a link and be like "important issues" and "health" but I don't think I will. Some came out ages ago, and a few are brand new. I just wanted to share some reviews with you guys.

Confessions of a: Bookworm

I've wanted to do a link-up for ages now and I did this with the YA book club and it seemed to get a good response so lets try it on the internet now! This is very much inspired by the 'Confessions of a Blogger and Geek' posts I took part in last September. They were fun, so here's a Bookwormy one! Here are 5 confessions of mine about books that are a little bit cringey:
