Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell

I said to myself I would stop writing book reviews for loads of books because I can't schedule them and get them out as quickly as I like (which would ideally be immediatly after reading them) due to just having loads of posts lined up. But here I am with yet another one but I promise I couldn't help it with this one, guys (and like I'd ever stop, really). Somehow Rainbow Rowell found out exactly what I'm like and put me in a book.

Life after University and Job Hunting

Last year I put myself forward to write about my job hunting and post-university life when it comes to new opportunities and all that jazz. After sending this off to a new blog I heard nothing back and don't think it was posted and didn't want it to go to waste so thought I'd tweak it a bit then share it with you guys.

The Dreamsnatcher by Abi Elphinstone*

Before I get in to what The Dreamsnatcher* is about and why you should read it, I wanted to take a moment and pine over the cover designed by the talented Thomas Flintham (who also did the cover for other children books like The Last Wild by Piers Torday). It's literally one of the sharpest, most beautiful and colourful covers I've seen on a children's book and I couldn't wait to add this to my shelf on the basis that it looks phenomenal.

My Comfort Films #Fandom5

Today I will be partaking in the Fandom Friday because I feel like this is my post; when prompted what are my comfort films I was able to list them off so easily. Technically, there are more than 5 responses here but lets not get hung up on the details.

The Butterfly Cabinet, Heaton

If you are a follower of my Instagram (@fionadunn) you may have seen me upload a delicious looking brunch at the end of February from The Butterfly Cabinet in Heaton. Immediately after that lovely brunch I decided I wanted to write a blog post about it and schedule it for the future, and here we are!

16 Steampunk Novel Recommendations

I do not read a lot of Steampunk but it is something I have definitely wanted to get in to for a little while now. For research I went to the wonder that is Goodreads (where all the following images and text come from and where all the links go too) and did a little browsing which I thought I would share with you.

Boneshaker (The Clockwork Century, #1)Soulless (Parasol Protectorate, #1)The Girl in the Steel Corset (Steampunk Chronicles, #1)Leviathan (Leviathan, #1)

Top 10 Disney Soundtracks

Just a little warning, I got so many emotions listening to these songs and writing about them. I'm such a huge Disney fan and I can't get over the music. What genius made these songs, you know? Can I commission them to make the soundtrack to my life? Anyway, it was really difficult to pick only 10 Disney films based on their soundtrack, and then focusing only on one song as well.
