Winterwear Inspired by Frozen's Olaf

Recently, The Nerdie Girlie did a really helpful post to better your blog and I was introduced to the wonder that is Polyvore! I am no fashionista but I love the fact that I now have the tools to make 'Inspired Look' posts (and it so easy to use too!) so I thought I'd have a little go at some winterwear inspired by Olaf because that was the first thing to come to me.

1. Winter Coat £130 | 2. Orange Scarf £49 | 3. Jumper £12.99 | 4. Leggings £15 | 5. White DMs £49.77 | 6. Carrot Ring £31

I still love Frozen and with winter on it's way I thought I'd let Olaf inspire some winterwear. Normally these inspired posts give a little bit of an explanation as to what is going on. In this case I think it's pretty simple: the majority of the outfit is black and white for coal and snow. The only splash of colour we're getting is that bright orange scarf as a nod to the carrot. I didn't want to overdo it with accessories and other attire (a hat and some gloves wouldn't go amiss in the cold weather) but I had difficulty finding some nice brown items that would go, the brown representing the twigs that make up Olaf's hair and arms. I wanted to add some nice carrot-y jewelry but there appears to be a gap in the market - for now I put in a carrot ring for a bit of a snowman feel.

This post was so much fun and if there is a good response from this then I will hopefully do some more when I find time.
